We know it’s a bit difficult to say goodbye to a good pair of swim trunks when they become our favorite ones; however, it’s better to move on and find a brand-new pair of swim trunks, in order to maintain a stylish and elegant image!
But, how do you know when your favorite swim trunks become old? And, how often should you change them?
Generally, swim trunks last an estimated time of three months to a year, so, it’s recommended to prepare a brand-new pair every summer.
This can also vary according to three factors:
- the quality of the fabric, which is detected when the swim trunks are touched, and if they feel soft and thick in your hands, it means that they’re made of good quality;
- chlorine, which can affect any kind of swimwear when they are made of poor materials;
- usability, which will depend on how much you use them.
These factors are important to consider in order for you to be aware of the lifespan of your swim trunks, but if you take good care of them, you will be the only one who will determine how long your swim trunks should last!
