The quadriceps muscles, also known as the "quads," are powerful muscles that allow the lower body movement and propulsion. The quadriceps muscles are composed of four large muscles located at the front of the thigh. These muscles are indispensable for providing hip flexion and extension at the knee joint.

And the list continues growing. Legs are the natural progression; they have become as important as some other muscles, especially when fitness post their deadlifts, squats, and clean and jerks on social media.
